Insiders within the club have conceded that a deal for Isak this summer is unlikely to happen. Isak has been training away from his current club, Real Sociedad, in San Sebastian, Spain, after submitting a transfer request nearly 10 days ago.
The striker has been using the training facilities of his former club while he waits for a potential move to Liverpool or another club. However, it seems that Liverpool is no longer pursuing a deal for Isak, at least for the time being.
