Antonito expressed his excitement about joining the team, saying, "It's an honour to be here. I'm a person who likes to aim high, and I think Newcastle is one of the best places to achieve my goals." He also mentioned that joining the team is a big step, but he's eager to get started.
Newcastle's outgoing sporting director, Paul Mitchell, praised Antonito's potential, saying, "We're delighted to bring him to Newcastle United, despite interest from other clubs in Spain and Europe. He has a lot of potential, and we'll work with him to find a loan move that will challenge him and help him grow as a player."
Antonito will officially join Newcastle on July 1.
