Inter has also been assessing other strikers, including Jonathan David and Lautaro Martínez. David is set to leave Lille on a free transfer, while Martínez will turn 28 in August. If Hojlund joins Inter, he may play alongside Martínez. Hojlund has reportedly given his approval to the transfer negotiations and wants to move to the San Siro, which is his preferred destination if he leaves Manchester United.
Inter is reportedly offering a loan deal with an option to buy for €45 million. If certain conditions are met during the season, the loan will become an obligation to buy. Hojlund scored only 10 goals for Manchester United in all competitions last season. The Danish international struggled in the Premier League and looked out of his depth as his team faced relegation.
Manchester United has already signed Matheus Cunha and is close to signing Bryan Mbeumo from Brentford. If these deals go through, Hojlund's place in the team will be in jeopardy. A move to Inter Milan could be the best option for Hojlund, who may not be ready for the English first division at this stage in his career.
