The home team got off to a strong start, scoring the opening goal just eight minutes into the game. Ladislav Krejčí received a pass from Fer López and neatly slotted the ball past Karl Darlow, who was making his debut for the club.
However, Leeds took control of the game and scored three more goals before halftime, leaving Wolverhampton with a significant deficit.
The visitors' second goal was scored by Dominic Calvert-Lewin, who headed the ball into the net after a cross from Jayden Bogle. Krejčí then made a mistake, fouling Calvert-Lewin on the edge of the box, and Anton Stach took advantage of the opportunity, curling the resulting free-kick into the top corner.
Leeds' third goal was scored by Noah Okafor, who found the bottom corner of the net after Stach won possession high up the field and played a calm pass to him.
Wolverhampton made three substitutions at halftime in an attempt to spark a comeback, and one of the new players, Marshall Munetsi, had a few close calls. He had a chance to score, but his header was tipped over by Darlow.
Munetsi had another opportunity shortly after, but Darlow made another great save. Sean Longstaff also had a chance to score, but José Sá gathered the ball well.
The hosts looked like they might score in the latter stages of the game, but ultimately fell short, extending their winless streak against Leeds to six matches.
Leeds, on the other hand, secured their first league victory since the opening weekend and will be pleased with their performance.
