"We have a strong team with enough attacking power to stay up, but we always worry about scoring goals," Evans said. "The number of goals we allow is also important. Our strategy this summer focused on getting the right balance between defense and offense."
"Our goal is to win at least 10 games, and I believe we have the ability to do so," Evans added.
When asked about convincing Calvert-Lewin to join the team, Evans said: "We're proud of how we negotiated with him. He actually turned down a Champions League contract to join us. We're happy to have him on board."
"Our manager, recruitment team, and sporting director all agreed that Calvert-Lewin was the best fit for our goal of staying up this season," Evans explained.
