Felix has signed a two-year contract with Al Nassr for a deal worth up to £43.7 million. This makes him the third most expensive transfer in history, after he was bought by Atletico Madrid from Benfica for £113 million at the age of 19 in 2019.
Before joining Al Nassr, Felix was in talks with Benfica about a return to Portugal. However, Chelsea agreed a deal with Al Nassr, and Felix has now followed in the footsteps of several other players who have moved from Chelsea to the Saudi League, including Edouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly, N'Golo Kante, and Angelo Gabriel.
Now that Felix's transfer is complete, Chelsea are reportedly close to signing RB Leipzig's Xavi Simons. Simons will likely replace Felix as a backup to Cole Palmer, and the Blues are expected to make a bid for him in the coming days. Chelsea has been active in the transfer market this summer, working to build a team that can compete for the Premier League title.
