Nkunku joined Chelsea in the summer of 2023, but a serious injury during pre-season training led to him dropping down the team's pecking order. Despite this, he is now on the verge of a new chapter in his career.

Milan will pay Chelsea a fee of around €35m, plus additional payments and a clause that could increase the total value of the deal to €42m under certain conditions. The transfer is expected to be finalized before the September 1st deadline.
